HI, I’M JENA

A little about who I am

I’m the CEO and Founder of Driving Development, a child development platform for caregivers all over the world.

I’m a doctor of physical therapy and board certified in pediatrics, and am one of the 1% of licensed physical therapists board certified in pediatrics.

Driving Development has received countless accolades from colleagues and clients all over the world and serves patients in North Texas while spearheading a global effort to help parents demystify development through their online platform.

When my son was born, I was overjoyed at the prospect of being a new mother. However, my joy quickly turned to concern when I noticed that he was having difficulty nursing. It wasn't until weeks later that we were told he had a tongue tie, which they believed was causing him to struggle with breastfeeding.

As a healthcare provider myself, I was frustrated with the lack of support and resources available to us. The healthcare system seemed more focused on rushing patients in and out, rather than providing personalized, compassionate care. It was a discouraging experience, and I knew that there had to be a better way to provide care for families like mine.

That experience ignited a passion in me to create a different kind of healthcare experience, one that focused on personalized care and empowering families to take an active role in their child's health from a functional and whole body perspective. With that in mind, I decided to start my own pediatric physical therapy practice.

Now, years later, I am proud to say that our practice has helped countless families find the answers and support they need. We have a reputation for compassionate, evidence-based care that drives real results for children and their families. And although our journey began with a difficult experience, it has led us to a place of passion, purpose, and a commitment to changing the way pediatric physical therapy is delivered.

“Dr. Jena was so kind and patient with us. She helped answer all my questions and walked through the stretches we need to do and explained them in ways that made sense.”
